ReplyDeleteThe more you write, the sooner it'll be out of your hair. And everything you're writing about matters. Some day little Undergrads will be referencing your work and putting your name in their bibliographies. No research or writing is ever wasted.
If you get REALLY stuck, Write Or Die might help. Set a number of words and a time limit and it'll keep making noises at you when you stop writing :p

The "blahs" seem to be catching these days... :( I like Peri's Write or Die solution to the mental blockage. I've also found that writing about ANYTHING helps stimulate my mental muscles. I've written entire short stories while in process of writing one thesis or another...lol. Sometimes your brain just needs a break from topics for a while.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment about the IUD. If I wasn't such a trainwreck for the better part of that month, I would have taken you up on your offer for advice. It didn't hurt as much to insert as I thought it would, but I was surprised that the mild discomfort lasted so long. Took two weeks for me to get through a whole day without ibuprofen.
Hope you're feeling better now that it's a week later....
